The Story Behind the Canopy
For around five years, I lived in the countryside, away from busy roads, close neighbours and much of the wireless activity you find in a town or city. I always felt comfortable there and generally slept very well.
When I had to move to a city centre, I noticed a significant change. I started waking up tired and feeling as though I had not had the same quality of sleep, even after seven or eight hours in bed.
I began looking into environmental factors that had changed between the two homes. During my research, I learned more about electromagnetic fields and how many wireless and electrical devices can be present in modern homes.
In my new home, I had several nearby Wi-Fi networks, Bluetooth devices and other electrical equipment, as well as smart meters located just a few metres from where I slept.
Rather than simply wondering whether this could make a difference, I decided to test shielding for myself. I came across silver-fibre bed canopies and decided to give one a try.
The difference I personally noticed was significant. I found that I fell asleep more quickly, slept more comfortably and woke feeling more refreshed, even when I had spent less time in bed.
That experience eventually led me to start supplying these canopies to help others with similar concerns.

Canopy Opening Configuration (Doors)
Choose the number of doors (openings) that best suits how you use your bed and the space around it.
1 Door — a simple and practical option with one full-length opening for easy access.
2 Doors — ideal for couples or anyone who wants convenient access from both sides of the bed. Especially useful at night, allowing either person to leave the bed without having to climb over their partner.
3 Doors – Luxury — two side openings plus an additional opening at the foot end, offering the greatest flexibility and convenience.
Each additional door requires more silver-fibre material and additional workmanship.
The Silver-Fibre Material
This premium conductive silver-fibre fabric is designed to provide effective EMF shielding while remaining lightweight, breathable and practical for everyday use.
Its fine mesh construction allows the canopy to surround your sleeping space without feeling heavy or enclosed, while the conductive silver provides its shielding properties.

Why the Under-Bed Shielding Mat Matters
The canopy provides shielding from the sides and above, but electromagnetic signals can also reach your bed from below.
That is why the matching under-bed shielding mat is included as standard with every canopy. See the FAQ below for more details.
The mat can be placed under the bed or directly underneath the mattress, depending on your preference.
I strongly recommend using the canopy together with the included mat rather than purchasing the canopy on its own.
Grounding
Grounding is not mandatory for the canopy or under-bed mat to provide EMF shielding. The silver-fibre fabric and shielding mat work without being connected to ground. However, grounding is recommended as an additional step.
The canopy and mat are not powered by electricity. The included earthing plug provides a connection to earth/ground.
Both the canopy and under-bed mat come with their own 4.5 m grounding cable.
Testing & Shielding Performance
The silver-fibre fabric provides attenuation of slightly over 40 dB across frequencies up to 30 GHz.
The included under-bed shielding mat made of copper-nickel fabrics provides approximately 80 dB of attenuation.
Actual shielding performance can vary depending on the type, frequency and strength of the signal, as well as the surrounding environment and how the canopy is installed.
No breathable shielding material can be expected to block 100% of all electromagnetic signals in every situation.
Our aim is to provide effective shielding while keeping the canopy breathable and practical for normal use.

Optional Extras
Aluminium Frame
Prefer a freestanding setup? A durable, lightweight aluminium frame is available separately. The canopy can also be suspended from the ceiling, so a frame is not required.
Grounding Rod
A grounding rod is available separately for customers who prefer to create their own grounding connection.
Important Information
Made to Order
Each canopy is made to order. Please allow approximately 3–8 working days for production before dispatch. Production time can vary depending on the number of orders being processed.
Under-Bed Shielding Mat
The mat may be placed under the bed or directly underneath the mattress. Please do not sleep directly on the mat, as it contains nickel and prolonged direct skin contact may cause an allergic reaction in people who are sensitive to nickel.
Frame Not Included
The aluminium frame is not included in this sale. The canopy can be suspended from the ceiling, or a suitable frame can be purchased separately.
International Orders
For international orders, any customs duties or local taxes that may apply are the responsibility of the buyer. A phone number is required by the courier for international deliveries.
Colour
The colour of the silver-fibre fabric may vary slightly from the product photos due to lighting and screen settings.

What size should I choose for my bed?
The sizes listed are the dimensions of the canopy itself, not the mattress. We recommend measuring the outside dimensions of your bed frame before ordering. If you are unsure, please contact us before purchase.
Why is the under-bed shielding mat included?
The canopy provides shielding from the sides and above, while the mat helps address signals that may come from below. The mat can be placed underneath the bed or directly underneath the mattress. Using both together provides a more complete shielding setup.
Do I need to use grounding?
No. The canopy and under-bed mat provide EMF shielding without grounding. However, grounding is recommended as an additional part of the setup.

Can I use the canopy without a frame?
Yes. The canopy can be suspended from the ceiling, so a frame is not required. We also offer suitable aluminium and lightweight frames, available separately.
